Anagha: Montesory

Schooling:
Anagha got admitted to the same school as her brothers, K.L.E International school. She was always enthu to go to school. She loved to write on book, on table, on walls... every where.
She used to apply nail polish using sketch pen. She enjoyed writing lines on her body also. :-)

First Day in School:

Anagha got up early in the morning (without making fuzz), when i woke her up. My dear darling, got ready soon and we went to temple and to 236. She looked sooooooooooooooo chweet in the school dress. Myself, Deepu, Chethu and Anu went to drop her to school. Without troubling any of us, she went into the classroom. She didn't cry. She was shocked to see other kids crying and there was big ? on her face, "why are they crying?". At home she used to say, if my friends cry, i will tell them "Amma will come and take you home.... dont cry".

When we were leaving from school, myself and chethu said bye to her..... then she got hurt and started crying.

UnExpected Anagha:

We all expected her to go to school very happily everyday (As she loved going to school :-)). But she prooved us wrong :-( . She used to cry everyday to go to school (Except on the first day). We used to make stories to send her to school. She will say i am not well, leg pain, tummy ache..that ... this... what not. All reason't to skip the school. She used to getup sooooooooooo hapily in the early morning.... But now the moment she opens her eyes.... she says "Amma Schoolige Hogalla", No smile on her face.... We even spoke to her teacher. But she said "Anagha is fine in the classes, she sings, dances...etc., she talk to everyone. She cries only for few mins in the begining and then she is fine. Dont bother too much". I was in a dailama, whether to make her stay at home for one more year or to send her to school.

Now it is 1 and half month since the school started - she started feeling better. Some time she started telling that she will go to school. But still with a dull face :-( . Not sure when she will get back that cute smile on face (even while going to school).But the best part is, she is our cute, smily Anagha once she is back from school :-)
I even stopped going to office using the office cab, so that i can drop her to school and go.... Again started to trouble Deepu to drop me to office :-) .But it was very very very difficult to see her dull face in school after droping her there.

Anagha: Day1 - Starting of School

Where ever i refer as "I", its me - Savitha.
Anagha was already 2 yrs completed, when i started writing this BLOG.

The 9th Month Function:
Even this time, I went to my mother's house in 9th month. This time we were in our new house in Basaweshwara nagar and Seemantha was done there. This is how i was looking in my 9th month.

Anagha's First Day:
It was Friday afternoon 1:00PM on August 26th, 2005 when i got pain in my tummy. It was Sri Krishna Janmastami on the day. My mother was cooking for lunch when i went and told her about the pain. Immediately, myself, Amma and Anna went to the hospital for checkup. Doctor was almost near the gate and she was going out for lunch. We call her in and after the test she told us that I will be delivering in another 1 to 2 hrs. I was sooooooooooooooo scared. Anna and Amma were also panicked. Immediately they started calling everyone and got me admitted. From them I was in the labor ward. Imagine, i didn't even get time to change my dress. Finally at 3:20PM I delivered. By then Everyone had come to the hospital and waiting outside the labor ward. We were all waiting for a baby girl. Doctor didn't tell me till 3:40, what baby it was. Even outside the ward, they got to know that i had delivered but not sure, which baby it was. Finally after they cleaned the baby at 3:40, they showed me the baby and I was soooooooooooooooo happy to see this cute little baby girl. After that they took the baby outside the ward and showed to all others. It seems, everyone was sooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo happy to see the girl. Unlike Sadee, she was looking around so many people, who are staring at her it seems. Deepu bought sweets immediately and started distributing. I wanted to see the joy on everyone's face....I saw that later when i was shifted to the ward at 6:00PM.And, I still have that dress, in which i delivered my sweet, cute, little girl. 11th Day function:
As done for all other kids, this function was also done with all the rituals. Some photos:

Baby's first trip:
Anagha was 5 month's baby when we planned a trip to Sakrepatna (for the village festival there) Horanadu, Sringeri and placesnear by. She was used to sleep in joli at that time. So, in my father's car (omni), we removed the seat, tied a joli and went for the trip. See some photo's yourself. Because of this trip we missed Rishi's naming ceremony.
Naming Ceremony:
Earlier, we planned to name her as "Adithi". Since, we also do Durga puja every year and she is the first daughter, we had plansto name her with some Durga name. We also looked in "Lalitha Sahasra Nama" and we liked the name "Anagha". It is another name to Durga and it also means "Pathivratha". My MIL Liked this name sooooooo much. She was also ok with the name Adithi (As this had both my name and Deepu's name).But she and many were more towards, Anagha. Finally on the naming ceremony day, we named her as "ANAGHA".Other names for her are "Honna Devi" and "Bhumika".Some Photos:

Photo Session:
Just like that we had a photo session in house for Anagha. Everyone had gone out. I was getting bored, thought to dress Anagah in different dresses, Added to this Chethu became the photographer. Here are some photo's of that day. Anagha's First Birth Day:
It was very much delayed celebration. But anyways we didn't want to miss the cake cutting. Finally after a month we decided to celebrate her B'day. My In-law's had just came back from their North india trip. You can see that costume on all the kidsin the photo below. Anagha had 'Madras Eye' - 'Red Eye' that time, that can also be seen in the photo.

Cute Baby Contest:In My office, one my colleague had nominated his kid for the Cute baby contest in "indiaparenting.com". We have to publish some nice photo's of our kid and the authorities will select one photo out of this and open the contest for a week. She was selected for Jan 1st week, 2007 contest. We have to advertise(by sending mails to friends to vote for our kid) and people have to vote for her as the cute baby. AND you know, YES, SHE WON THE CONTEST.Thanks to Daya and Hari for getting loooooooooooots of Votes for her.This was a great beginning for her in the year 2007. Of course good begin to her life.

Anagha's Second Birth Day:
This was done in our house 2nd floor with all close relatives and friends. We had non-veg food for the night and believe me it was enjoyed by all.... Toooooooo good. :-) some photos:
We had fashion show after the party. She was made to ware all the gifted dresses. She co-operated soooooo well.

Trip to Goa:
For Sadee's B'Day when we went to Goa, She enjoyed a looooooooooooooooot in the beach and in the resort pool. Some photos:

She hardly used to get scared for any thing and any body. If she is getting scared, then most of the times she was just pretending to be scared. Many of us, including me were scared of the mask in the photo below. This girl wore the same and was running all over. Oooooooops i know the difficulty i had to upload this photo to this site. :-(

Kids Fashion Show (April 4th 2008):

As part of NSN Anniversay (Family Day), Kids program was arranged. Anagha took part in one of the fashion show "Tiny rockers". She was the youngest of all in the show and was trained to walk alone on the ramp. Every weeknds there used to be rehersals and everyone enjoyed her company and especially the hip shake she used to do. That flying kiss and smile and that hip shake, that cute face, Everything was enjoyed by all. She was called the Star performer of the show.

I was under utter pressure and tension to make her do her part of the show. Such a small 2 and half year old baby, giving the first stage show on a ramp in front of nearly one thousand people. I was soooooooo scared, whether she will really perform on the show day. She just slept of half an hr before the show and eveyone panicked. Finally, 10 mins before the show i woke her up and dressed her up.

My sweet little darling, lisntened to me and she did it very well..... I am proud about her. :-)

After the Fashion show, the next day we went to Sakrepatna (To drop Sadee there for his summer vacation). She enjoyed oil bath there.

Krishna Family:

Once i took her to one of the function (Gangamma Thimmaiah Choultry function). There she went around telling to my aunties that, "Varun is Krishna, Sadeep is Balarama, Rishi is Makaranda and She is Subadra and it is a Krishna Family". She had learnt it from my MIL. Everyone there were enjoying her talk. :-)
